WELCOME On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, it will be our privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the 9th International Workshop of Layered and Nanostructured Materials (IWLNM 24), which will be held in Perugia, Italy, a beautiful city with a remarkable cultural and artistic life and an outstanding architectural heritage. The workshop will take place at Hotel Gio' Wine and Jazz Area, in the heart of the city (https://www.hotelgio.it/). The conference gathers the heritage of the previous editions (2006-Alessandria, Italy; 2008-Vercelli, Italy; 2010-Bochum, Germany; 2012-Campinas, Brazil; 2014-Mulhouse, France; 2016-Kutna Hora, Czech Republic; 2018-Krakov, Poland; 2022-Toledo, Spain) focusing on the synthesis, characterization and applications of layered materials as metal phosphates/phosphonates, layered double hydroxides, clays, graphene, MXenes, and nanostructured materials, among them silicates and zeolites, transition metal oxides and organic-inorganic hybrids/MOFs.

and Keynote Lectures, as well as oral and poster
presentations. Participation of young
researchers, both from Industry and University,
will be strongly facilitated by low registration
